Deposit and Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: Tuesday 14th January 2025
At Queen Street Dental, we strive to provide the best care and service to our patients. To ensure we can accommodate all our patients efficiently, we have established the following deposit and cancellation policy.
1. Appointment Deposits
To secure your appointment, we require a deposit for certain treatments. This deposit will be applied toward the cost of your treatment on the day of your appointment.
- Deposit Amount: £50 to 50% of treatment cost
- Treatment Types Requiring Deposit: Hygiene, Periodontal treatment, Fillings, Extractions, Crown appointments, Bridge appointments, Denture Appointments, Emergency appointments.
- Due Date for Deposit: The deposit is due at the time of booking your appointment. Your appointment will not be confirmed until the deposit is received.
2. Cancellations and Rescheduling
We understand that life events may lead to changes in your schedule. However, in order to maintain fairness to all patients and keep our practice running smoothly, we ask for the following:
- Cancellation Notice: If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours notice.
- Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time will result in a deposit forfeiture.
- No-Shows: Failure to attend your appointment without prior notice will result in full deposit forfeiture or 50% of the treatment cost charged.
- Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible to avoid cancellation penalties. Deposits may be transferred to rescheduled appointments if proper notice is given.
3. Exceptions
We understand that certain emergencies or unavoidable circumstances may arise. In the event of illness or other genuine emergencies, we may make exceptions on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us as soon as possible if you are unable to attend your appointment.
4. Payment for Services
- Outstanding Balances: If there is an outstanding balance from a previous appointment, we kindly ask that it be paid before scheduling any future appointments.
5. Your Understanding
By booking an appointment with us, you are agreeing to our deposit and cancellation policy. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation, which allows us to serve all of our patients effectively.
